Call for Papers

Proposals are welcomed for papers on topics including, but by no means limited to, any of the following themes:

  • National Identity
  • Environment and Place
  • Economic and Social Change
  • Emigration and Displacement
  • Memory and Cultural Identity
  • Military Service and Identity

Paper proposals must include a title, a 300 word abstract, and a short biography of the speaker. Papers should be approximately 20 minutes in length. We particularly encourage postgraduate and early career researchers to apply.

All proposals should be submitted to conference organisers at [email protected] by 5th May 2025.
